In an age that is beginning to resemble a fragmented multi-step back to the worst of all worlds there is a need to find a way forward, a coping strategy, a voice of resistance that challenges the immoral and dispiriting environment in which we are forced to make our lives. The transparency of greed and corruption is becoming overwhelming with all pointers to the truth being willfully obscured in order to promote the regimes propagated by those with power, those who no longer have the moral compass to wield it with even the slightest consideration or compassion for those they exploit. We are sold images of unlimited wealth, celebrity and glamour, fooled into believing that they are ours for the taking.
Dark Light, recorded between 2014 and 2016 reflects the chaos and sensory overload of Web 2.0 where we are bombarded by lies and misinformation, where the truth is malleable and impossible to extract from the overload of misrepresentation, and propaganda.
