Continuum is inspired by the rhythms that have existed before time and will continue long after the universe has ceased to exist. It pursues a state of transcendence through repetition with each track fading in and out as if they have always been playing, slowly evolving over eons.

With the aim of creating spontaneous music, all the tracks on Continuum were written and recorded as one-shot improvisations over the space of a single month in early 2018 with little or no reworking. The album utilises repetition to tap into the ideas of eternal rhythms that have shaped our rituals and pursuit of altered states, and as it progresses the beats-per-minute increase, reflecting the gradual acceleration of the universe towards final heatdeath.
